Morocco
Morocco is one of the best and easiest countries to visit in Africa. It is a cheap, affordable, diverse and beautiful country.
One of the best ways to explore it is to rent a car like I did. Contrary to what most people would advise, driving in Morocco is easy.
From Mediterranean cities in the north, Atlantic coast in the west all the way to the Sahara desert in the very east, Morocco is a country that suits any type of traveller.

5 Top Tips for Visiting Morocco:
- You would mostly pay in cash, so make sure to always have some.
- Morocco is a conservative country, so dress modestly. If you’re visiting resorts in Tangier or Agadir, then you can wear shorts, mini dresses, skirts, etc.
- Do not drink tap water in Morocco, and make sure you bring medicines like Imodium, probiotics and antibiotics in case you pick some bug.
- Tipping is customary in Morocco, so always tip your guides, drivers, hotel staff etc.
- Bargaining is a part of Moroccan culture, so don’t forget to do it when shopping.
