- Egypt is a conservative country, so dress modestly. If you’re visiting the Red Sea, then you can wear shorts, mini dresses, skirts, etc.
- Do not drink tap water in Egypt, and make sure you bring medicines like Imodium, probiotics and antibiotics in case you pick some bug.
- Tipping is customary in Egypt, so always tip your guides, drivers, hotel staff etc.
- Bargaining is a part of Egyptian culture, so don’t forget to do it when shopping.
