United Kingdom
United Kingdom is the country I’ve been calling home since 2018. It comprises England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The capital of the UK is the one and only – London. It’s one of the greatest cities, not only in the UK, but in the world. However, a lot of people miss to explore beyond London and it’s there where the true beauty of the United Kingdom shows.

Facts about United Kingdom
Capital: London
Currency: British Pound
Official language: English
Population: 68.3 million
Religion: Christianity
When is the best time to visit?
The best time to visit the UK is in the summertime when the weather is at its best. Also, it’s a great choice for Christmas time, especially London.
5 Top Tips for Visiting United Kingdom:
- You would mostly (almost exclusively) pay in cards, so make sure you have Revolut or Wise for better currency exchange.
- Do not visit in the winter months from early January to late March because it is very cold, rainy and windy with almost no sunshine at all!
- Book tickets online for the most popular places, especially in peak summer season.
- Stick to the right side on the escalator if standing, the left side is for those walking down the stairs.
- Beware of the pickpockets in the touristy places, especially in London.
