Thailand

Thailand is my favourite country in the world. If it weren’t too far away from Europe and my family (and too humid), I might seriously reconsider moving there.

This country has it all: incredible culture, crystal-clear beaches with white sand, stunning nature, interesting wildlife and great cuisine. It’s fun and quirky, relaxing and adventurous. So it is not surprising that there are many great and pretty unique things to do in Thailand.

5 Top Tips for Visiting Thailand:

  • While you can generally pay with cards, a lot of places require cash, so make sure to have it with you.
  • While Thailand is a fairly modern and developed country, it is still recommended to drink probiotics before and during your trip and not to drink tap water.
  • Some countries require a visa to visit Thailand, so double check requirements, especially on how many entries you’re wishing to make.
  • There is no strict dress code overall, but you do need to dress modestly for visiting temples.
  • You have to try Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice (Khao Pad Sapparod) and Mango Sticky Rice when in Thailand.
